• Campaigns only last a few weeks
• Ballots generally have one item on which to vote (candidates for one seat)
• Easy to register at the polling place

Medical Care

• Run by the government as a single payer system
• Paid via taxes or a low monthly fee (in BC)
• No deductible, no co-pay
• Dozens of walk-in clinics in every town

News Media

• Generally well-behaved
• Fox News is banned as propaganda
